  • SRI SAVITHRI TRUST was constituted, established & Registered in 1996 (Regn.No:1301/1996) with the prime objective of constructing UTHIRA KRIYA MANDAPAM for the benefit of the people in the Thiruvallur--Perambur belt.
  • Land measuring about 4 grounds was bought at Saraswati Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal in the Avadi Corporation limits and registered in the name of the Trust.
  • The BHOOMI POOJA was performed on 26th January 2000. The first phase of construction was completed comprising of a Reception cum Office, a prayer hall, a kitchen cum dining hall, and 6 rooms for daily rituals up to the 12th day.
  • The UTHIRA KRIYA mandapam SRI SAVITHRI THEERTHAM (a unit of Sri Savithri Trust) was INAUGURATED by H.H. JAGADGURU SHRI SANKARA VIJAYENDRA SARASWATHI SWAMIGAL of SRI KANCHI KAMAKOTI PEETAM On 21st July 2002.
  • In the second phase of construction, another block with 4 rooms for daily rituals and 2 Halls on top was completed.
  • The activities are managed by a Board of Trustees.

The Trust carries out charitable activities like poor feeding in and around Thiruvallur district. During the visit of H.H.Jagadguru Shri Vijayendra Saraswati of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam to Ambattur, an Amount of Rs.1Lakh was donated towards Annadhanam.

In the prevailing Pandemic Covid-19 scenario, as a gesture of Social Responsibility, an Amount of Rs.50000/-(Fifty thousand) was donated to Chief Minister Public Relief Fund.
